What is CJC-1295 with DAC?
CJC-1295 with DAC is a modified version of CJC-1295 to which a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) is attached. This modification extends the half-life to 6–8 days, allowing only 1–2 injections per week.
The DAC component binds to albumin in the blood, preventing the peptide from breaking down rapidly and providing a stable, prolonged increase in GH levels.
How it works
It stimulates GHRH receptors in the pituitary gland for prolonged growth hormone release, not in pulses (as with the version without DAC), but as a stable increase.
It raises basal GH and IGF-1 levels for several days after a single injection.
It is convenient for people who prefer less frequent injections, although pulsatile secretion (with the version without DAC) is considered more physiological.
How it is administered
A subcutaneous injection 1–2 times a week. Recommended dose: 30–60 units per injection. 1 unit = 17 µg; 30 units = 0.51 mg.
